The Very Many Things

I don’t think I love very many things but here are the ones I can think of:

Stay Hydrated With These Tweaks and Tricks

Studies state that sufficient amount of water intake can help move oxygen and nutrients smoothly through the blood to your cells; lowers stress on the heart; prevents muscle cramping; lubricates joints; provides nourishment to skin cells, eliminates cellulite; flushes toxins from the body; keeps you regular; and helps prevent kidney stones. Moreover, it helps you stay skinny and keeps you energized throughout the day.

“Drink 8 glasses of water per day” is something we have heard dozens of times. Is it a myth or a fact? Well studies now a days prove that it’s an illusion that has been fabricated. It’s certainly possible to gain sufficient amount of water intake from other edible goods as well since there are certain fruits and veggies groups that contain high amount of water, in other words you can eat your water! It should be noted however, rather than boiling or cooking them its best to eat raw because cooking would only reduce the water content in them.


You could even create flavoured water that wouldn’t make drinking water in general a tedious activity for the day. A blend of fruity and herbs infused water are quite tasty concoctions in addition a great detox mechanism. The combination is basically according to your preferences.

Smoothies and herbal teas such as camomile tea, hibiscus tea and green tea are other ways to get plenty amount of hydration during the day. There you have it! The multiple ways to stay hydrated instead of simply drinking a glass of boring plain ole’ water.


The Last Time (A Poem)


It was a moment of realization,

A day where the dreadful truth shun.

All this time she deliberately looked the other way,

But not on this particular day;

Because it was the last time.


The tolerance within her took its final breath,

Her taken for granted silence coming closer to its death.

No more will she carry this burden for their benefit,

Not anymore will she be the joke of this town, she is no dimwit?

Because this was the last time.


Three thrones were kept in this palatial court,

With only one pleasing the selfish gluttons and providing support.

No one else mattered, nothing else mattered,

The evidences she held roared, yet were still left unheard;

But this was for the last time.


No longer would she rely on him,

The light within her will no longer remain dim.

All she ever wanted was a place to call home,

Instead she found herself in a war zone.

But this was for the last time.


Clearly your own blood never mattered anyway,

So until his priorities are settled she’ll drive through her own highway.

Those battlefield scars are souvenirs she gets to keep,

A reminder of the strength embedded in her deep;

Time will come when the unstoppable truth will prevail,

For now this sea of tears were her last trail.

Katy Perry has risen

On Thursday 14/07/2016, a great singer finally woke up from her little slumber. Katy Perry released a song folks! It was certainly quite a major surprise for all her fans as two years had passed since “Prism” was last released in 2013.

Her latest song titled “Rise” honestly would make anyone snap right out from their lackadaisical stupor to get right back up to make some changes for themselves with a belief that you can move mountains to take over your own life and accomplish what you have been aiming for since a long time without a flinch all you have to do is persevere despite things not going as planned sometimes. Not to mention give you sense of courage in case you’re going through a major bad day. Every word is inspirational and powerful which is part of the reason why it is said to be used as an anthem before and throughout the 2016 Rio Olympics. It is known to be written in collaboration with US broadcaster NBC specifically for the games although in addition to that it was announced by Katy Kat herself that her sole purpose of this song was to create a sense of unity and show that together we can rise above the fear and madness taking place around the world. She said, “I was inspired to finish it now rather than saving it for the album because of the overall mood of the world today.”

Personally, after listening to this supreme masterpiece I am looking forward to what she has in stored for us in her soon to come album.
