The pink mosque

The marvellous pink mosque known as the “Putra mosque” in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur. It is located next to the Perdana Putra which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister’s office.

The pink-domed mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granite, along with a mad made putrajaya lake surrounding it. The lake is so beautifully developed, it’s hard to believe that it is man-made.

The boat ride is the best part, as you’re able to explore around and get some sight seeing done. It smoothly cruises under the seven different bridges and around the modern “iron mosque”, otherwise known as “Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque” which is the second principal mosque in Putrajaya.

A must see when ever you get the opportunity to visit Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and don’t forget the to take the 45 minutes lake ride.
